Home closes / Homeowner moves into home.
Keys and move-in gift are provided to Homeowner.
Move-in memo is provided to Homeowner with responses to any questions from orientation.
A schedule is provided for any incomplete items from orientation.
ATH transfers utilities over to Homeowner. Homeowner sets-up garbage, cable and phone.
Warranty period begins
Homeowner submits a 45-day list to ATH via fax, email or mail.
45 day list is included in the homeowner manual
ATH inputs list into the warranty tracking spreadsheet
ATH contacts Homeowner to schedule meeting to review the list.
Submitted list is reviewed and items not conforming to performance standards are identified.
The homeowner is provided a copy of the approved repairs / adjustments.
ATH schedules the repairs with a goal to have all items completed within three weeks of meeting.
ATH sends Customer Survey to Homeowner.
The Homeowner completes and returns the survey.
Homeowner submits "One Year Drywall" list to ATH via fax, email or mail.
"One Year Drywall" list is included in the homeowner manual.
ATH inputs the list into the warranty tracking spreadsheet.
One year warranty period ends.
Period from one to two years after closing, HBW's 2-10 two year warranty is in effect.
Homeowner submits the suspected defect claim to HBW.
HBW determines if the item is warrantable and notifies both the Homeowner and ATH.
Two year warranty period ends.
Period from house closing to ten years, HBW's 2-10 structural warranty in effect.
Homeowner submits the suspected structural defect claim to HBW.
Ten year structural warranty period ends.
